Who We Are

Monarca Group is a multicultural, multilingual consulting firm advancing sustainability through community-centered engagement.
We help local governments, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations connect environmental programs with underrepresented and under-resourced communities — the people often left out of opportunities designed for them.

We specialize in making sustainability accessible through trusted relationships, equitable implementation, cultural relevance, and multilingual communication. Our team brings technical expertise and lived experience together to bridge the gap between policy and people.

Our Story: From Caterpillar to Butterfly

We believe every community has the power to transform—just like the Monarch butterfly that evolves from caterpillar to cocoon to a resilient traveler crossing thousands of miles. That journey reflects our purpose and the work we do every day..

We founded Monarca Group in 2023 after witnessing a clear gap: programs designed to help families and small businesses thrive were not reaching the people they were meant to serve. Language barriers, limited trust, and complex systems were preventing communities from accessing sustainability and economic opportunities.

So we chose to become the bridge.

We guide communities through a transformation—from awareness (caterpillar) → capacity-building (cocoon) → full participation and empowerment (butterfly) across sustainability and climate-action programs that build long-term resilience.

Through bilingual engagement, culturally grounded outreach, and strong partnerships with agencies and community organizations, we support families, entrepreneurs, and under-resourced communities to achieve:

  • Lower utility bills

  • Access to incentives and clean-energy programs

  • Sustainable business practices

  • Healthier homes and neighborhoods

  • Economic stability and opportunity

Just as the Monarch’s migration depends on strength, connection, and collective support, our work empowers communities to overcome barriers and take flight. At Monarca Group, we help communities build the wings they need to move toward a healthier, more sustainable, and more prosperous future.

What We Do

Everything we do is built around one core belief:
Climate action must be accessible to everyone — regardless of language, income, or background.

Community Engagement & Outreach

Bilingual, culturally grounded clean energy education, EV outreach, home energy workshops, and community events.

Small Business Sustainability Support

We create and implement programs to help businesses reduce waste, save water, cut energy costs, and access sustainability grants.

Incentive & Rebate Navigation

Connecting families and entrepreneurs with incentives for energy efficiency, weatherization, EVs, heat pumps, induction, utility savings, and green jobs.

Applied Research & Equity Assessments

Community-informed data collection and qualitative research for agencies designing equitable sustainability policies.

Our Triple Bottom Line Approach

Monarca Group doesn't reference the Triple Bottom Line — we operate through it.

PEOPLE — Community at the Center

We begin by centering communities, not programs. Because we come from immigrant, multilingual, and under-resourced backgrounds ourselves, we design outreach that respects culture, language, and lived experience. We prioritize language justice, accessible communications, co-creation, and barrier-free participation.

PLANET — Environmental Action for Everyone

We promote clean-energy, electrification, energy efficiency, zero-waste, and circular-economy practices — tailored to the realities of families and small businesses. With bilingual education and community-rooted solutions, our environmental action is inclusive, practical, and sustainable.

PROSPERITY — Economic Mobility Through Sustainability

Sustainability meets economic equity. Through financial coaching, incentive navigation, small-business support, workforce training, and grant access, we ensure that everyone benefits — financially and socially — from the green transition.

Why We Do It

Because programs only matter when people can access them.
Because sustainability must include everyone.
Because communities deserve pathways designed with — not for — them.

We believe that when people understand the programs available to them, they save money, reduce emissions, and strengthen their communities.

Our Vision

A future where every family and small business — urban or rural, immigrant or born-and-raised — has the tools, knowledge, and support to participate in the clean energy transition.

A future where community wisdom shapes environmental solutions, not the other way around.

Meet The Team

We are a team of multilingual, multicultural cultural brokers — supported by innovative tools — who bring technical expertise, community knowledge, and creativity to every project.
